The second half of the year has officially begun, and after a strong showing with the likes of Hitman 3, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Resident Evil Village, 2021’s shifting into a higher gear in August.

While there’s plenty of indie favorites such as The Ramp, Foreclosed, and Road 96 to look forward to, the final days of August are stacked with a number of bigger-budgeted titles. That rush to the end has already seen one highly-anticipated game drop out of the race though, as Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been delayed to 21 September.

The rest of the month though? The incredibly excellent Hades expands to multiple platforms, Ghost of Tsushima gets a PS5 upgrade, Psychonauts 2 brings a weird mental journey to Xbox Series X|S, and it’s time to splatter some acidic blood against the wall in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
