Whether you’re in the mood for gritty mystery, comedy, throwback sweeping epics, or an early dose of festive family fare, Disney+ has you covered this November. Below, you’ll find our top picks for the month.

Quiz Lady (Film)

Awkwafina and Sandra Oh play mismatched siblings in this comedy about a brilliant but tightly wound young woman, and her estranged, trainwreck of a sister, who are forced to come up with the money to cover their mother’s gambling debts. The two embark on a wild, cross-country trek in a desperate hope to win enough cash the only way they can think of — by becoming game-show champions.

Stream Quiz Lady exclusively on Disney+ from 3 November.

A Murder at the End of the World (Limited Series)

We covered this before, but a last minute delay moved this whodunnit from August to now. Co-created by and co-starring Brit Marling, A Murder at the End of the World is led by up-and-coming Emma Corrin, who plays Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker Darby Hart. Invited to a remote retreat by a reclusive billionaire (Clive Owen), Darby must use all her skills to catch a killer when one of the other guests is found dead.

The seven-episode A Murder at the End of the World premieres on 14 November with two episodes, followed by a new episode every week after that.

Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story (Documentary Series)

One for racing fans, Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story is an unscripted documentary that sees Keanu Reeves explore one of the greatest sagas in F1 history. In 2009, Ross Brawn defied the odds, taking on the biggest titans of the industry with an understaffed, underfinanced, independent team and won the World Championship. The series features interviews with Brawn and revered drivers like Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.

Watch all four episodes of Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story from 15 November.

Dashing Through the Snow (Film)

Season 2 of The Santa Clauses is back from 8 November, but for lovers of festive family fare, there’s also holiday comedy Dashing Through the Snow. Social worker Eddie Garrick (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience, but he agrees to takes his 8-year-old daughter Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum) out with him on Christmas Eve. When they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick (Lil Rel Howery), a life-altering adventure begins.

Dashing Through the Snow starts streaming on 17 November.

Faraway Downs (Limited Series)

Here’s something a little different. Acclaimed filmmaker Baz Luhrmann has reimagined his 2008 historical epic film Australia as a six part series for the small screen, revisiting over 2 million feet of original film to tell the story of an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) and a rough-hewn cattle drover (Hugh Jackman) who join forces to protect a million-acre cattle ranch that spans Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Watch Faraway Downs from 16 November.
