Huh? We’re halfway through the month and we’re only doing our Disney+ rundown for November now? Well, barring a few exceptions, the entertainment we’re most excited for on the streamer is still to come. These are our November Disney+ highlights.

P.S. Friday’s news recap included a tease for a surprise Star Wars-Studio Ghibli collaboration. It turns out we didn’t have long to wait for the reveal at all, as on 12 November a new 3-minute short joined Disney+, bringing together The Mandalorian’s Grogu and Ghibli’s beloved soot sprites.

Limitless with Chris Hemsworth (Series)

This National Geographic documentary explores the full potential of the human body, specifically how to extend our health, strength and intellect further into our later years – essentially equipping us to overcome ageing. Thor star Chris Hemsworth puts new scientific research to the test, by undergoing a series of epic trials and extraordinary challenges, in this series created by Darren Aronofsky. Watch the series in its 6-episode entirety from 16 November.

Disenchanted (Film)

Fifteen years after the events of musical comedy Enchanted, fairy tale princess Giselle (Amy Adams) finds herself at risk of becoming an evil stepmother when her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find. This even after moving from bustling New York City with husband Robert (Patrick Dempsey) and their children to sleepy suburban Monroeville. Frustrated, Giselle turns to magic, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family in jeopardy. Also with Maya Rudolph. Watch from 18 November.

Willow (Series)

George Lucas and Ron Howard’s 1988 fantasy epic makes the leap to the small screen 34 years later with this eight-episode series. Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis), an unlikely but powerful sorcerer, returns to lead a new group of misfit heroes – played by a diverse international cast – on a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home. There they must face the forces of darkness and their own inner demons. Joanne Whalley returns as warrior turned ruler Sorsha. Willow premieres on Wednesday, 30 November, with weekly episode drops.
