There are some big names coming to Netflix screens in September, including the likes of Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber and Dakota Fanning in The Perfect Couple, which adapts Elin Hildebrand’s bestselling 2018 novel of the same name. We also have more Zack Snyder, but he’s stepped away from flogging the Rebel Moon horse to adapt a Norse myth in the spectacular animated series Twilight of the Gods. Last in our top picks is a critical favourite from TIFF 2023, His Three Daughters.
Other highlights to watch out for include Uglies, a film adaptation of Scott Westerfeld’s 2005 Young Adult sci-fi novel about a dystopian future which values appearance above all… and Part 2 of Season 4 of Emily in Paris. Those two have nothing to do with each other, I’m sure.
